Darwin Falls detail
Moss and grass thrive in the oasis of Darwin Falls within Death Valley National Park. On the park's far western edge, the falls are fed from mountain springs that form Darwin Creek which tumbles into this small oasis. Downstream from here, the creek disappears under ground, leaving a dry wash filled with spring flowers for but a few weeks each year.
