Aspen embrace
A small cluster of Aspens seem to embrace as they grow in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. The Aspens provide spectacular color in early October throughout the park. The black marks on the lower bark of these trees is damage caused by the park's elk rubbing their antlers during the fall rut. The elk can be heard calling out for mates throughout the night.
